I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for new beauty products to battle the signs of aging that are written all over my face. So, when I had the opportunity to review some face care products from Koru Naturals, I was very excited!
I received their wonderful Skin Clear Cream, Manuka Honey Propolis Soap, Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser, and Manuka Honey, Tamarind, and Manuka Oil Facial Toner. I love that they are all made with natural ingredients so they’re healthy for my skin.
Skin Clear Cream: The Skin Clear Cream is made with raw, unpasteurized Manuka Honey and pure steam-distilled East Cape Manuka Oil. This cream is ideal for people who are prone to acne making this wonderful for teens and adults alike. It is designed to improve the appearance of blemished skin, and it promotes skin elasticity.
What I thought: This cream comes in a 4 oz. lidded jar. It’s slightly thicker than my normal moisturizer so I don’t have to use very much. I love how it tingles when applied, and it leaves my skin feeling soft.
Manuka Honey Propolis Soap: This soap is made from a combination of Manuka Honey and Propolis. Both ingredients are known for their moisturizing and protective qualities.
What I thought: I love the smell of this soap. I’m not typically a bar soap fan, but this one smells so good that I just can’t stop using it. I’m anxious to see whether or not it helps me battle dry skin this winter.
Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser: This cleanser comes in a small 4oz bottle with a pump. Free of parabens and artificial colors, this cleanser is safe for sensitive skin.
What I thought: I wanted to like this cleanser since I liked everything else. However, I don’t feel like it removed all of my makeup at the end of the day. If you don’t use much makeup, it will probably work well for you. I plan to pass it to Emma who doesn’t wear much at this point.
Manuka Honey, Tamarind, and Manuka Oil Facial Toner: Like the cleanser above, my toner came with a pump not a spray nozzle. This is supposed to be used after the cleanser but before the cream listed above.
What I thought: I am not sure I saw any benefit from using this. I had no adverse reactions, but I don’t know that I saw any changes for the better either.
What is our opinion of the product?
I liked most of the items I received. I would purchase them for myself. And, because of Emma’s sensitive skin, I would purchase the cleanser for her. I love that the products are natural and should be safe to use on her sensitive skin.
I recommend these products to anyone who has sensitive skin and those who prefer natural prodcuts.
